Olive wood, always
One grill, lit at eleven every morning. Nothing on the menu is finished any other way.
A small Mediterranean kitchen behind Santa Maria del Mar. Everything grilled over olive wood, everything meant to be shared, and a wine list built almost entirely from small Catalan growers.

Núria walks to the Barceloneta market twice a week. Whatever looks best becomes the special.
Forty-odd bottles, nearly all Catalan, nearly all from people we have actually met.
Núria cooks, Alba runs the room. The menu is short because everything is cooked to order over olive wood, and the dining room is small because we like knowing who is at every table. We opened in 2014 with eighteen seats, a second-hand grill and a list of six wines.
Ten years later there are twenty-four seats, the same grill, and a list that finally needs a page of its own.
